You may wonder how your manufactured house goes from the design and build phase to the time when you and your family unpack the last of your boxes on move-in day. Whether you are a customer who only needs what we call “cost to sell” services, such as permits or air conditioning installation, or a customer who needs start to finish guidance, Prestige Home Centers offers the experience and expertise that your project needs. Read on to learn about The Prestige Difference and how we help you take your house from manufacturing and turn it into a home.

The Design and Selection Process

The Prestige Difference starts with us thoroughly listening to what you want and lending our expertise to help you best determine which home model suits you and your family’s needs. Our conversation includes figuring out what home style you like, any requirements you have for square footage or included options, and how we can best utilize your budget to fill those needs. We can also review our luxury upgrade options with you to ensure you’re 100% satisfied with the result.

We then take you on a tour of models we have onsite at our home center to see our quality for yourself. Once you have chosen your home model, we work with you to establish a project timeline. We help you navigate your new home’s financing options, and we perform a credit check for you so you have a clear idea of what you can afford. Further, we offer in-house insurance options as your true one-stop-shop for turnkey services.

The Build Process

After you choose your home model, and we work together to determine your financing options, we then evaluate your build site. We also start to loop in our contractors and bid on your behalf for any needs of your property. We only work with licensed and insured contractors, so you can be sure the contractors will deliver the services you pay for and do so on schedule. Once the customer and Prestige mutually agree on which contractor to use, we enter into a contract with them.

Next, we finalize anything needed for the closing day, and Nobility Homes goes to work for you. Everything associated with your home build is done according to local, state, and federal regulation and code requirements. All necessary permits are obtained on-time and appropriately. Your home is built to the strictest standards in a controlled environment.

The Move-In Process

Once your home’s assembly is completed, we deliver it to your site and finalize its installation, including leveling and completing electrical, water, or sewer connections. We coordinate with the local government to schedule inspections and facilitate you obtaining of the certificate of occupancy. After this is completed, your county or city of residence will contact your utility company to turn on your power services.

Once we are satisfied that our punch list is complete and your home is in perfect condition for you to move-in, you are ready to take up residence! And, our support for your project doesn’t stop there.

Notice: Across the country, the construction industry, and particularly the home building industry, is experiencing unprecedented supply and demand issues. Labor and materials are in short supply and being priced higher and higher. This is causing reduced production, unanticipated building delays, and unpredictable pricing of materials and homes. With the elevated material costs and delayed turnaround time on building homes, home prices are likely to change now to home completion. Our team is doing everything we can to inform our customers of this pricing and get them into their homes swiftly. We appreciate your continued patience.
